Meet my hometown #Oradea (3)

Back with another visual feature of my gorgeous hometown ♥

Find part 1 here and part 2 here.

As for any updates going on around the city, I can pin point how Unirii Square is so filled with life almost every day, but especially now that all the important games are streamed on a large screen right in the square, gathering loads of people supporting their favourite teams (btw, Oradea is this year’s national champion at basketball – how awesome is that?!). Also, there are plenty of outdoor bars offering cool drinks under their umbrellas to chill out and just let time pass by pleasantly. I’m happy to see this square finally taken away from the cars and given back to the people and, moreover, I’m happy to see the people really claiming it back.

As what to visit if you’re in Oradea for the first time, make sure you don’t miss Darvas House and Zion Synagogue, both of them recently (re)opened to the public (well, a few months already!). Black Eagle Palace’s interior is currently under restoration and only a part of it is finished so far, but it does give you an idea of how it’ll all come together when completely done.

Eagerly looking forward to see what’s next – I’m confident every new step will be better than the last one.

Have you visited Oradea recently? Curious to hear your thoughts!

Although my heart stays in portrait photography, I recently started to try my hand at shooting interiors as well 😊 Here’s one of my first shoots featuring Ristretto Cafe from Oradea, designed by my colleagues at @davidsign 😊 The project has been published on @retaildesignblog just yesterday! ❤️

Thank you so much, Alexa! ♥ The kitchen photo is from Darvas House and it’s probably the cutest room in the house ^_^
